(De)Centered: An Exhibition of Filipino American Artists

Please join us for (De)Centered: An Exhibition of Filipino American Artists, co-curated by Isabel Manalo and Janna Añonuevo Langholz. The exhibition will also be the official book launch for the Fil/Am Artist Directory’s first publication. 


(De)Centered  includes artwork by 22 Filipino American artists, who hail from across the United States. In their respective artworks, the artists show a connection to both the Philippines and the U.S. and their attempt to remain centered in both places. The work ranges from painting, drawing, and photography to installation and video.

Curators' Talk is at 5.30pm and open to the public. Fil/Am Artist Directory book launch is at 6pm. De(Centered) exhibition runs May 13-June 16. All at WAS gallery, 5110 Ridgefield Rd., Bethesda, Maryland.
